Recommended Lakes and Marshes in Autumn
Niseko is also famous for its many lakes. The easiest to get to is Lake Hangetsu at the foot of Mt. Yotei. It takes about an hour to go down to the lakeside and enjoy a trek around it, but if you just want to look at the lake, you can get there by leaving the car and walking for 10 minutes.
Today, only a few trees and fallen leaves around Lake Hangetsu were red, but it seems that the autumn leaves are just beginning to change color.There are lots of mushrooms. Come and enjoy the Niseko autumn at your leisure.
There is also a variety of other sights to explore, such as Kagami-numa (Kagami Numa), for those who want to get a more thorough feel for the mountains, Shinsen-numa (Shinsen Numa), which is higher up in the mountain but can be reached by walking on a boardwalk, and Onuma (Onuma), which can be enjoyed by traversing the mountain and doing some light hiking. Be sure to enjoy these sights before the snow starts to fall.

The three-day autumn holiday has begun. Today, the first day of the festival, Mt. Yotei is at its best and the sun is shining brightly, making it a pleasant day for tourists. NAC TRAILRUN IN NISEKO
The NAC Trail Run in Niseko, a run around the mountains of Niseko Annupuri, was held under clear skies. We were very moved to have so many people participate with various thoughts and feelings and share the same time. Even those who have never done a trail run before can join from the 5km course, so we hope you will join us next year and get muddy. Thank you so much to everyone who participated!

This is how today’s tour is going. The Shiribetsu River that flows through Niseko is one of the best rivers in Japan. A variety of ways to spend your time
August starts today. Although the weather tends to be cloudy, rafting and river sap were very popular today. When I went to see Sap’s tour, I saw a mountain cicada as well. There are many activities to enjoy in Niseko. Trekking if you want to walk in the mountains, mountain biking if you want to feel the wind, downhill if you want a little more challenge, rafting if you want to have fun with family and friends, ducking if you want to bask in the spray of the river, and if you want to quietly look at nature. River kayaking (sit-on), river supping if you want to have fun, and indoor rock climbing that you can try even in between meals at the center. You are free to choose how you want to spend your time in Niseko.

River Day
Today in Niseko, the temperature rose to nearly 30℃, but the humidity was over 40%, making it a perfect outdoor day. Potato flowers are in full bloom around Mt. Yotei! Some potato flowers are white, while others are light purple, making them a sight to behold! The Shiribetsu River is popular for rafting, but it would be a shame not to play in the river on a day like today. I also decided to go to the river in the afternoon. We still have reservations for tomorrow, so choose the river activities that suit you, such as rafting, ducking, kayaking, and SUP, and enjoy Niseko's outdoors together!
