Preparations for the NAC Trail Run in Niseko, to be held on September 6th, are progressing smoothly. While registration usually closes one week before the race, this year, due to the introduction of automated timing, the deadline has been moved forward to August 23rd.
That’s right, only 8 days left!
Last year, heavy rain and whiteout conditions forced the 30km course (26.5km) including the mountaintop to be closed, and the event was hastily changed to a 10km course (13.5km) run in loops. What will the weather be like this year?
The current number of participants is 274 as of today, which is roughly the same as last year, although the number of participants for the 10km course (13.5km) is a little low. By the way, we’ve ordered 450 participant T-shirts, so there’s room for about 100 more people. Let’s run around Mount Niseko Annupuri together!
